How to Install Lo-Board.

To get started with Lo-Board, you’ll need to install the device on your board. We promise it’s really simple!

What you’ll need:

  • Snowboard

  • Lo-Board

  • Screwdriver (typically a #3 Phillips, depending on the snowboard screws)

  • Compatible screws (from the Lo-Board kit, or existing snowboard screws)

  • Allen wrench (if your bindings use Allen bolts)

  • Hex or Torx wrench (if applicable)

Instructions

Remove the Snowboard Bindings

  • Lay the Snowboard on a Stable Surface

  • Locate the Binding Screws: Check the base of each binding for the screws (typically four) that secure each binding to the board.

  • Unscrew the Bindings:

    • Using the screwdriver, carefully loosen and remove each screw from the bindings.

    • Set aside the screws if you’ll be reusing them.

  • Remove the Bindings:

    • After the screws are out, lift each binding off the board. Clean the area if necessary, removing any dirt or debris from the mounting holes.

Position the Lo-Board Device

  • Align the Lo-Board with the Binding Holes:

    • Place the Lo-Board device over the binding attachment sites on the snowboard.

    • Position it so that the mounting holes line up with the snowboard’s 2x4, 4x4, or 3-Hole/3D mounting pattern.

  • Choose the Correct Holes:

    • Depending on your board’s mounting pattern, align the Lo-Board’s holes with the corresponding pattern on your snowboard.

    • Use only the holes that match your board’s configuration:

      • 2x4 pattern: Two rows of holes spaced every 2 cm.

      • 4x4 pattern: Two rows of holes spaced every 4 cm.

      • 3-Hole/3D pattern: The unique triangular pattern used by certain boards.

Attach the Lo-Board to the Snowboard

  • Insert the Screws:

    • Insert a screw into each aligned hole, attaching the Lo-Board device to the board.

  • Tighten the Screws:

    • Using your screwdriver or wrench, tighten each screw firmly. Make sure not to overtighten, as this could strip the holes or damage the snowboard material. Tighten each screw until the Lo-Board is snug and secure against the board.

  • Check Stability:

    • Gently shake or tug the Lo-Board to ensure it’s firmly attached and doesn’t wobble or shift.
